Day 1: Arrival and Welcome in Guatemala City
● Begin your adventure as you land in Guatemala City and take your private transfer to the
charming city of Antigua.
● Settle into the Autumn in Antigua Boutique B&B, and enjoy a welcome dinner with drinks
to meet your fellow travellers
Day 2: Floral Wonders and Historic Walks
● After a leisurely breakfast, immerse yourself in the beauty of Antigua’s Flower Festival
with a private guided walking tour through vibrant displays and historic streets.The
Flower Festival is a spectacular celebration of color, fragrance, and artistry. This annual
event transforms the city into a blooming paradise, with intricate floral arrangements
adorning plazas, parks, and iconic landmarks.
● Savour a traditional lunch at local street vendors, experiencing the authentic flavours of
Guatemala in a vibrant, bustling setting
● Free afternoon and evening to relax or continue exploring the quaint shops and
experiencing the old world charm of Antigua.
Day 3: Tranquil Shores of Lake Atitlán
● Travel in private transportation to the serene Lake Atitlán.
● Enjoy a private boat tour of the picturesque villages around the lake, delving into local
Mayan culture with stops in villages like San Juan La Laguna and Santiago Atitlán.
● Return to Antigua and relax with a home-cooked dinner at the B&B, offering a cozy and
intimate dining experience.
Day 4: Majestic Acatenango Volcano Adventure
● Embark on an unforgettable adventure to Acatenango Volcano. The journey begins with
a scenic drive to the base, followed by a guided 45 min - 1 hour hike tailored to your
pace.
● As you ascend, take in the stunning vistas of the surrounding landscapes as you make
your way to basecamp. From there you will witness the awe-inspiring views of fiery
volcanic activity from neighbouring Volcán de Fuego.
● Camp overnight on the volcano under a canopy of stars, enjoying the serenity and the
spectacular night-time views of the active volcano. Capture this once-in-a-lifetime
experience with breathtaking photos.
Day 5: Rest and Relaxation in Antigua
● Descend from Acatenango and return to Antigua, reflecting on the incredible adventure. Enjoy a well-deserved rest, perhaps with a soothing massage or a visit to a local spa. Free evening to explore Antigua at your leisure.
Days 6: Mystical Tikal and Sunset Views
● Transfer to Guatemala City for a short flight to Flores.
● Transfer to Tikal National Park for a guided tour of the towering Mayan ruins, exploring
the fascinating history and architecture of this ancient civilization.
● End the day with a magical sunset tour. Climb high up on a platform of one of the
temple ruins to watch the sunset over the jungle canopy.
● Soak in the ancient vibes and lush surroundings as the sky transforms with breathtaking
colours, creating an unforgettable and enchanting experience.
Day 7: Relaxation and Exploration in Flores
● Enjoy a leisurely morning at the Jungle Lodge, taking in the tranquil jungle surroundings.
● Transfer to Flores for a free afternoon.
● Explore local shops, stroll along the lakeside, or relax at a café with a view of Lake Petén
Itzá.
● Take an evening stroll through the colourful streets, and enjoy a leisurely dinner at one of
the lakeside restaurants.
Day 8:Farewell to Guatemala
● After breakfast in Flores, transfer back to Guatemala City.
● Settle into the hotel and enjoy a relaxing afternoon.
● Celebrate the journey with a farewell dinner, sharing memories and laughter with your
travel companions.
Day 9: Departure
Enjoy one last breakfast before heading to Guatemala City Airport for your flight home, taking with you cherished memories of your Guatemalan adventure.
